Sister Gwen,
No amount of weeping has brought you back so I must say my farewell. I first met the Samson’s when your family moved to CDC Bota, it must have been 1988 and since then we have been like family. I particularly looked up to you because you were a past student of Lourdes where I was currently a student. I felt especially connected because you were also from Immaculata house. I have fun memories of those days and the times we spent together: in Bota, your wedding in Tiko, Sis Pam’s wedding in Tiko a few years later and your visits to Sis Pam when I was in Buea and the one that stands out the most is your visit to Boston in March 2010. In all my interactions with you I was touched by your love, gentleness, humility and thoughtfulness. You were full of life and Grace, I can say this because I was touched and affected by your gentle spirit. Now that you are gone, my consolation is that you got so righteous and full of Grace that God did not want you to be tainted by the things of this world so he has brought you to himself. I know that we now have another Angel in Heaven-Sis Gwen.
YET it is too soon, you are too young and have so much more to give to this world. Your leaving has left a huge hole in our hearts and lives. We miss you dearly.
