Judith Nwana Gwen July 16, 2012

Gwen,

I still see your beautiful smile and happy face when I close my eyes.
In Lourdes your purposeful steps and bubbly personality made you a dear friend to all.
How you used to come to my aid when I had run out of garri; I used to leave Bernadette dormitory all the way to Immaculata to get some from you. That's the kind of person you were.
We will miss you dearly and you have thought us a lesson; I kept saying oh there is time, we will all meet again soon. Jan 2013 looked so close and I thought we will all meet for the Golden Jubilee celebrations. Can you imagine that within a few months that has all changed. As the saying goes, man proposes but God disposes.
I thank God for knowing you and for bringing you into our lives.
We will miss you dearly. It hurts so much each time I start to write I cry my eyes out.
God obviously loves you more than we and your family do; who would blame him. You are special.

Rest in peace Gwen and I know you will be preparing a place for each and every one of us and watching out for us.
We will do our best by your children and your family.

Love you Gwen and bye bye.

Prisca Wara Gwen Gwen/ MONDAY DEDICATED TO GWEN SAMPSON July 16, 2012

Gwen ,Gwen.,,,

Where do I start my story with you Sis?When You came to Lourdes and ended up in Immaculata dormitory,I could not  have imagined that later in life ,We will get this close,to the point that I will sit and tears will run down my face. When ,We left Lourdes,I thought our paths have ended, little did We know that destiny will bring us that close ..,,,,,,,,,by us meeting again in Houston, and for your whole family ending up to be my family and your Mom being my personal friend  .Gwen How how you do we soooo???????.When I learnt that You got married to a Nigerian,I got encouraged and then I found Myself in the same soup....On the basis that when I happen to go settle In Nigeria,,,I will have a sister that We could sit and" congosa".Gwen,,how will  I  handle  this rough terrain' without you?Why did you decide to run off so fast? You could not run when those wicked hands were about to grab you?Gwen I de vex well, well.

Gwen even during your last visit to Houston, six weeks ago,You went above and beyond for us to get together, but I kept on giving one excuse to the next. You then decided to use an anonymous number, and as usual,i found an excuse not to meet..Two days before You left for Nigeria,You called again and those words still ring in my ears right now......:'.Bo ,mami I de go ohh.I know say wuna over busy for this wuna contry  .Why did you not tell that you were going around telling all of us bye-bye?.I wish you well yaa"Gwen chei. The day I got news about you going to this unknown land,I drove to your sisters home, hoping to get the true story, and Your big brothers confirmed it before I could enter the house.Gwen ,,,,,na joke this or na provoke?I was with Mama last night ,and We just hope its a really bad dream that will come to pass too.Gwen ,the outpour of love for you exceeds understanding, based on the fact that You were just visiting Houston. While  in Houstonn ,I remember you wearing your Lesa colors and join us sing in church.Gwen We sure miss you,but I wish I had grabbed the opportunity to tell you this six weeks ago.......REST IN PEACE  Sis and also say Hi to our other Lesan sisters that have gone ahead.Continue to pray for those of us that are still  lingering around and do not fully know God yet.Make a" big fireside" there ,Gwen.........We love You ,but God loves You much more....We will miss You Gwen.

Madam, you bring love to me and my friends anytime I come to your house, the food we eat and the drinks (Beer) I cant forget all this, I remember one day in the office you said that Joseph your wedding will be the best in Port Harcourt and I say how? You ask me not to worry, but now I am worried about that because you are no where to be found and I ask myself why! why!! why!!!
Anytime I remember you, I cry like a baby, as am typing this ma'am, am crying but your memories will allways be in my heart all the time.

Rest in Peace Mummy Gwen!
