Nagella Nwana Nukuna Adieu Gwen July 11, 2012

Sleepless nights Gwen. We were not ready for you departing so unceremoniously. You typically have to be unique, even in your departure, Gwen. In our meditation of your demise, we now see glory, just as Christ did.

We will stand strong in prayers for you and your loved precious ones left behind.

Adieu Gwen.

We love you loads.

Nagwa Nwana Fonjoe Peace, Gwen, Peace July 11, 2012

In quiet meditation and prayer over your sudden and shocking departure from us, I have come to understand that:

Your death, though so untimely to us is timely with God.

Your last days here on earth seemed painful and unbearable to family.  You were not revived because you were being lead home.  You were not alone.

I will forever cherish the Saturday you spent with my family a few years ago in Maryland.

I still can hear the ‘scream’ from you when I unexpectedly crossed that Nigerian expressway.  You were scared for my life.

You were always a very happy, loving, mischievous and sympathetic friend and sister.

I’ll keep your family in my daily prayers.  Please watch over them.

I miss you so much already but I know it shall be well.

Peace, Gwen, Peace

Prosper Ndifor (aka Ms P.) TRUBUTES FROM PACESETTERS TO OUR SISTER, GWEN July 11, 2012

We have lost a beautiful soul. Her departure has brought back memories of lost once in my life. During times like this we wonder what the real purpose of life is. I believed Gwen found her purpose. She was a beautiful person in and out, easy to relate to, wife, mom, sibling, daughter, friend. It breakes my heart when I think about her children, how are they gonna navigate this complicated world without their mom.

I remember seeing Gwen in Lagos about 17 years ago, looking beautiful as always with her husband. Being in Lagos for the first time, i felt like I had met an angel when I saw her. She and Her husband walked into a dinner where we were. We spent the rest of the time we had chating and catching up. I thank God for that moment. My heart goes out to her family. My prayer is for her children, husband and family in Cameroon. Truth is words may only be what they are, but the Holy Spirit who is the true comforter will comfort them. We will continue to put all of them in our prayers.

Claire 'ashia', I know how difficult this must be particularly for you. Stay strong.

Beloved sister let us all left up our voices in prayer to God our father; He is the mother to the motherless. Father may your peace rest upon Gwen's children, husband and her family. May you Oh Holy Spirit comfort them, may the love of God surround and cover them, in Jesus' name AMEN.
